Role summary
ensure the management and optimization of production, times, quality and costs to achieve compliance with the objectives by coordinating all the resources of the plant, following the quality standards, the safety and environment policy established by the company.
key responsibilities
1. manage the production lines through the personnel in charge so that the production program is fulfilled through sap and captor.
2. support production supervisors in solving major problems by raising those that cannot be controlled with the current resources assigned.
3. monitor during the shift the progress against the program and the actions to solve identified problems.
4. coordinate with safety, quality, maintenance, engineering, human resources and materials the necessary actions to correct and improve production problems.
5. ensure safety practices, process controls, nonconforming product, order and cleanliness on the production floor.
6. assign, with the support of supervisors, qualified personnel to each work station to comply with standard operating methods and approved process controls that protect the quality of the manufactured product.
7. work with team leaders from other departments for staff training, troubleshooting and re-establishment of production.
8. control of up-time, down time (productive, non-productive time), as well as continuous improvement in them.
9. compliance with the safety and hygiene standards of your area.
10. responsible for the procedures of his area, as well as the collaboration to obtain and maintain the quality certifications.
11. responsible for compliance with the operational indicators (kpi) of the productive area.
education
industrial engineer or similar, specialization in productivity or quality (desirable).
work experience
automotive industry.
