Global road safety’s mission is to “lead the world’s safest transportation network, protecting the lives of people on road everywhere”. Global road safety (grs) covers all miles and all business units in all countries (22 total) where amazon conducts on-road operations. Grs is structured into a hybrid field and corporate organization, with six key pillars (incident investigations, risk, assurance, standards/policies, tech and services). Grs is also associated with the workplace health and safety (whs) horizon vision to be the global benchmark for safety excellence across all like industries, utilizing the six horizon pillars (data intelligence, safety design, ergonomic improvements, technology, risk reduction, and people & perception).
key job responsibilities:
1. coordinate and craft global road safety documents, including but not limited to monthly business reviews, vp level wbrs, and serious incident/injury report outs.
2. monitor and understand key grs safety metrics.
3. be the gatekeeper for change management requests that involve transportation processes.
4. present documents and information to director and vp level leaders.
5. identify injury/incident trends and collaborate with team members to create and action high impact projects based on those identified trends.
6. pm high impact projects by working with other grs pillar team members.
7. craft safety awareness products that provide instruction, guidance, and clarity to our on-road partner teams.

about the team:
grs services was created in 2023. Our goal is to support internal grs, as well as our external customers. Within grs services, there are two main teams: internal grs partners (igps) and transporter safety partners (tsps). Igps own project management, events, platforms, internal grs meetings, and organizational education/development. Tsps are separated into two sub-teams: global delivery team and safety awareness team. The global delivery team owns king pin goals, global documents, global trend-based projects, and change management. The safety awareness team is responsible for creating safety awareness products (comms/content) for our partners across the globe.
minimum requirements:
1. bachelor's degree
2. fluent in english and spanish
3. 4+ years experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
4. 4+ years experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
5. 4+ years experience in program or project management
6. communication and content creation experience
7. 1+ year transportation knowledge and experience
8. 5+ years of transportation management experience
9. 2+ years of program management experience
10. experience leading and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
11. experience managing upward
12. previous vp level document writing and support
13. 2+ years of communication and content creation experience
14. certification in project management professional (pmp) or similar accreditation.
