qualifications and requirements:
- 2 years of experience working as a data analyst or in a quantitative data operation role.
- a bachelor's degree in a technology related field that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- highly proficient business english, both verbal and written and excellent organizational skills.
- working knowledge of data management best practices and data architecture concepts.
- strong critical thinking and analytical skills with a proven ability to translate analysis into meaningful insights.
- hands on experience creating reports, visualizations, and dashboards in modern bi and reporting platforms.
- excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to develop and maintain clear documentation of key data processes.
- experience working with and managing raw disparate data.
- proficient in microsoft and google suite.
- comfort dealing with uncertainty and changing circumstances.
- ability to present complex information and ideas clearly.
- spreadsheet modelling experience excel/google sheets.
Activities:
- collects and analyzes select business data to prepare reports, dashboards, visualizations, and presentations for consumption of business leaders.
- uses statistical analysis and data visualization techniques from primary and secondary sources to identify underlying issues/emerging risks, recognize trends, and relationships.
- collaborates with department leaders to identify reliable sources of data to develop key risk performance indicators kri/kpis and draw meaningful insights.
- manages the structure and minimum requirements of multiple acquisition data rooms.
- ability to analyze large volumes of disparate data to identify red flags, data trends, and recommendations for mitigation. Examples of data include employee and customer contracts, pipeline data, churn reports, vendor agreements, etc.
- identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- designs, maintains, and regularly improves on plans to provide consistent status on data cleanliness and quality across multiple data rooms.
- work with acquisition team to prioritize business and information needs to meet the acquisition plan timeline s.
- reports on key department performance measures and provides recommendations to improve monitoring and metrics activities to gather additional insights.
- performs ad-hoc analysis to identify potential issues within datasets and reports as requested by function leaders.
Nice to haves
