*what you will do?*
administers and directs the manufacturing engineering initiatives in the plant in an efficient manner, in compliance with corporate policy, procedure and specifications, to produce a quality product at a reasonable cost. Provides technical expertise for air cooled chillers processes and assembly equipment. Coordinates with corporate engineering department to assure new product launches and current product improvements are incorporated in appropriate specifications and standard procedures fulfilling pdp requirements. Implement jcms practices, create a car projects: new technology, cost reduction, replicate bbp's between facility plants, implement the best manufacturing practices, establish a route time for new products. This will all be accomplished through development of the annual operating plan for the site utilizing strategic and innovative approaches.

1. Establish annual capex focused on the plant needs.
2. Create rod map technology to improve the manufacturing process.
3. Best business practices between different plants across jci
4. Pokayoke, templates, tooling, equipment, sequence are defined by the manufacturing eng.
5. Assure that there is a development of engineering policies and procedures per pdp standards
6. Identify and develop actions and project focused on the quality, safety issues.
7. Manufacture 4.0 will develop.
8. Review project specifications and requirements to assure conformance of design and fabrication of product.
9. Provide feedback to design engineering to improve the product introduction process.
10. Responsible for attaining efficiency targets during the ramp up phase of the implementation.
11. Responsible for developing and presenting local cars necessary to support the new product implementation.
*what are we looking for?*
engineering bachelor's degree, and master degree in administration or equivalent experience required, a minimum of eight years of progressive experience in product development, engineering, spc, amef, rtpy, six sigma, iso 9000, quality standards, lean manufacture, and refrigeration; including five or more years of direct project management experience. Professional recognition and industry networking are desired, a high-level of proficiency in speaking to large audiences, able to lead and direct diverse teams, able to travel up to 30% of the time, 100% of english written and spoken, and a strong personal computer working capabilities in ms office suite, etc
