- hands on and detailed oriented project manager with telecom background and experience in customer delivery and sw development projects
- overall, nokia is looking for individuals with a "telecom-it pm dna" who take ownership and responsibility for their projects, work with mínimal supervision, and able to represent nokia in front of the customer.
*for core projects*:
- projects may involve and require high level knowledge of packet core, vnf concepts, 5g, cloud migration, and aws integration and deployment as well as knowledge of ims/sdl concepts and architecture and specifically the cmm, amf, mme, smsf, cfx5000, aaa, and strong preference on 5g and cloud deployments.
- special focus might include messaging services including mmsc, sms-gw and msa platforms.
- projects might include green field deployments, expansion, migration, virtualization, upgrades, and care work.
*for business application projects*:
- jira and confluence experience is a plus.
- experience with big data, artificial intelligence, and machine learning projects could be a requirement.
- device management addresses a unified communications across the internet to manage a wide range of devices effectively, efficiently, and securely across multiple domains including mobile devices, home devices such as sensors/m2m, and other cpe (customer premises equipment).
- nokia one portal is a device management system and nokia hosted deployment services platform offers a development and testing environment which is used before the sw is deployed into production.
- we are looking for pms who could take leadership after the onboarding period and grow in the role technically and with soft skills.
pmi pmp certification is a plus.

- manages customer program (collection of projects managed together for business benefits) or project* for a defined product and / or service scope for a medium / large and / or complex customer contract with medium / high risk probability.
- contract might be defined as key project by bg / market.
delivers the operational and project single/multiple bg / bus scope to the customer.
- plans customer project and keeps plan updated to reflect and anticipate changes by coordinating change management on all aspects affecting cost, scope, schedule and quality (cssq).
- assures consistency among project financial, product and service forecast activities.
- participates in pre-sales and sales process activities.
- determines delivery approach alternatives and manages the selection of the final recommended approach to delivery.
- ensures hand over from sell to execute and from delivery to care is done and monitors progress against it.
- ensures project contract management process is initiated and executed.
- defines the customization of any global operational processes together with relevant point of contacts to meet project requirements (for example, network operations, supply chain, logistics, and acceptance).
- manages the customer relationship during delivery and serves as the primary interface towards the customer in all activities-related to the own scope of the contract, including customer complaints, corrective actions, and changing requirements.
- prepares a clear and effective communications plan and ensures proactive communication of all relevant information to the customer and to all stakeholders.
- monitors and controls that the project is delivered within the approved budget, profitability forecast, and planned scope.
- ensures that the project meets all objectives for quality and looks continuously for quality improvement and customer satisfaction.
- actively applies appropriate best practices and lessons learned throughout the life of the project.
monitors, controls and reports kpis defined in customer contract.
- ensures data in all project-related tools and repositories is kept up-to-date and with high quality.
- conducts thorough risk management for all project risks and opportunities.
- seeks to define new opportunities to expand and renew contracts with the customer.
- leads the project team.

- delivery projects might include pre-sales support (reviews of sow), integration lab testing in both nokia and/or customer environments, and customer deployment (foa and production)._
- preferable telecom technical background, strong technical foundation, eagerness to learn a must.
- strong leadership and able to manage high pressure situations
- able to represent nokia with skills in managing customer expectations and requests
- experience with customer delivery and development projects in a telecom environment
- training on nokia project management and analytics tool (pmat) will be provided
- training on nokia myerm tool will be provided.
- onboarding "buddy" will be assigned to introduce the pm to the project team and processes
