what does a commercial finance analyst do?
commercial finance analyst supports commercial team as a business partner, adding value by providing business insights related to financial analysis, promotional activity recommendation and pricing strategies as well as giving visibility to guarantee the best decision making to foster business growth.
about you
this position ensures financial information accuracy while maximizing opportunities and minimizing deviations, also provides financial analysis and support in actions related to forecasting & reporting, follow up and tracking on all financial aspects that affect short- & long-term strategic decisions.
responsibilities
with our consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to:
1. business partner of sales, marketing and customer marketing. Support the teams with the right numbers and analysis to take the right decision in terms of promotions, projects and opportunities.
2. design and implement financial models for sales and finance, analysing important kpi’s for each area.
3. accountable for post-event analysis to evaluate roi from main promotional activities from main clients.
4. support the commercial teams in the monthly planning process, but especially in the annual plan. To ensure the right balance between challenging but right targets.
skills & experience
the skills & experience needed to create your legacy:
1. business acumen: understanding of the consumer industry.

4. analytics: from numbers to insights.

personal qualities
1. 1 - 2 years of experience in finance roles, specially: commercial finance and business partner.
2. systems: office, sap or similar, power bi, reporting systems.
3. language: spanish and english.
4. ideally experience as a sales team business partner or implementation of new discounts processes.
