the role the sapsales and service manager is expected to perform high-qualityproject work for our customers, continue to build the sap s/4hanasales and service capability in north america, and foster itscontinued growth within our operations excellence service unit.this role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, will be responsiblefor the strategic direction for mhp americas sap s/4hana sales andservice consulting services, and will be required to set actionableobjectives, create a culture of accountability, and take a hands-onleadership approach to execution.

with this in mind, thisperson will be required to ensure the quality of our services forour existing client base, cultivate relationships with newcustomers, develop new business opportunities, and continuouslyadjust our existing and future offerings according to marketdemands.
key responsibilities: consulting & implementation: -lead sap gts projects (customs management, export controls,preferential trade) for clients in regulated industries(automotive, chemical, medical devices).
- design and deploycompliance-driven solutions (e.g., embargo list checks, dutyoptimization, legal document automation).
- integrate sap gts withs/4hana, tm (transportation management), and ewm for end-to-endsupply chain visibility.
business development: - expand mhp's sapgts offerings by identifying market needs (e.g., usmca/t-meccompliance, sanctions screening).
- cultivate long-term clientrelationships as a trusted advisor in global trade.
leadership& innovation: - mentor junior consultants and lead projectteams.
- develop reusable assets (templates, best practices) fortrade compliance.
qualifications: mandatory: - 4+ years in sapglobal trade services (gts) with hands-on experience in: - customsprocesses (tariff classification, duty calculation, import/exportworkflows).
- export control (spl screening, license management).
-compliance reporting (e.g., aes, intrastat).
- 3+ full saplifecycle implementations (including sap gts migration/upgrades).
-deep knowledge of international trade regulations (ofac, ear, eudual-use, sat mexico).
- bachelor's/master's in internationalbusiness, supply chain, or it.
- fluency in english (spanish orgerman is a strong plus).
preferred: - sap s/4hana gtscertification.
- experience with automotive/manufacturing supplychains.
- project management skills(agile/waterfall).
