*your contribution*:
- develop and execute system integration design failure mode & effects analysis (design failure mode & effects analysis (dfmea) for hves modules
- interface with cross functional team to design and develop functional solutions that achieve design requirements & to ensure proper design interfaces with other components, and all requirements are met.
- work with other functions design / releasing teams to ensure consistency in requirements, standards, and practices across programs.
- translate functional objectives into technical requirements and solutions
- own and update design failure mode & effects analysis (dfmea), design verification plan & report (dvpr), and failure mode effect analysis (fmea) - ensure functional objectives, guidelines and corporate requirements are met
- conduct computer aided design (cad) modeling (catia / nx) and template set-up & maintenance using knowledge based engineering template modeling techniques.
- early computer aided design (cad) creation and development prior to supplier award & onboardinggenerate cad and 2d drawings for components including gd&t
*your profile*:
- bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, and or mba from an abet accredited university (or equivalent)
- knowledge lighting development, lighting measurement, lighting simulation using speos or any other simulation tools
- experience developing performance standards, creating master sections and surface feasibility proposal for pdo
- knowledge of can/lin bus and experience with circuit analysis
- design for six sigma dfss experienced (green belt or black belt preferred), shainin green belt
- nx and teamcenter knowledge
- automotive interior product design components/systems design/development/releasing experience
- experience with tooling feasibility in injection molded plastics/decorative components
- highly motivated individual with excellent communication, leadership, organizational skills, excellent relationship building skills with the ability to work in a cross functional team environmentknowledge of design failure mode & effects analysis (dfmea), design verification plan & report (dvp&r), fea, mold flow virtual validation, gd&t, and i-speed
