Responsible for developing/maintaining/supporting robust and consistent environmental stewardship program strategies in support of gm's mission to deliver sustainable solutions that improve the communities in which we live and work.
- experienced in at least one of the main environmental programs (air permits and regulation, water permits and regulations, or waste regulations)
- engages with domain experts as necessary to ensure continual improvement and support new program/project implementation.
- key collaboration with plant management and employees, fams, regulatory agencies, internal and external community leaders and members, legal staff, gm and external audit services, utility service provides (wwtp & ph), project planning teams at sites & hq, domain experts and chemical and resource management business partners.

- grow to understand the plant manufacturing systems including production processes, wastewater discharges, air emissions impacts, sewer systems, chemical usage, and waste management/recycling programs, iso:14,001 management system, to ensure effective decision-making and regulatory compliance.
