*summary*:
- the purpose of this position is to retain, acquire, penetrate and innovate with food service distributors according to the brand strategy and responsible to effectively manage and strategic develop +$5 m key accounts.
*major duties & responsibilities*:
- ensure 3-year sales plan.
- execute monthly distributor visit plan to increase sales, build and cultivate strong relationships with distributors' director/owner through:
- monthly and quarterly business review.
- visit purchasing dept to review forecast and purchase orders quarterly.
- review and negotiate accounts payables.
- promote product penetration and innovation and collaborate in new product development.
- validate distributor's product self-life and preventing returns or waste.
- promote and train at least twice a year distributor's sales representatives' key attributes and benefits of our product portfolio.
- sales market visits with its distributors pushing sell out, supporting distributor´s sales team and gaining foodservice operators' insights to support product ideation sessions.
- regularly update sales scorecards to ensure alignment with growth strategy.
- 3-year acquisition distributors plan withing the region assigned.
- communicate and update product price increase and assure execution providing tools to reduce impact in sell out through clear point of sales initiatives.
- execute and align to brand plan with distributors, showcases and activities.
*knowledge and experience*:
- education in administration, business, marketing, and culinary arts is required.
- over 10 years of proven experience in similar roles within leading foodservice companies.
- previous employment at food companies, mega alimentos, nestle professional, unilever, ragasa, mccain, sigma foodservice.
- proficiency in numerical skills, advanced excel including pivot tables, graphs, and reports.
- proficiency in microsoft office and powerpoint.
- proficiency in english is a plus.
