Responsibilities
1. direct responsibility for company’s cost accounting and related month ends close processes including preparation and analysis behind month end journal entries.
2. provide timely preparation, interpretation, and analysis of product costs, manufacturing variances.
3. work with the company’s auditors during annual audit, quarterly reviews, and sox testing.
4. monthly reporting to corporate (material usage, scrap, cost of quality scrap).
5. support annual labor standards process.
6. prepare month end job analysis.
7. analyze variances for labor, overhead and materials.
8. new material standard cost update.
9. standard cost rolls up for new products.
10. oracle vs expandable inventory reconciliation.
11. weekly labor upload.
12. performs other duties or special projects as assigned or requested.
minimum requirements
1. bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or accounting (or equivalent training and experience) is required.
2. minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
3. ability to be a team member and ability to build and lead teams.
4. solid excel skills are required as well as a high proficiency in standard job costing and variance analysis.
5. english required- 80%.
6. excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
7. occasional travel to the us.
