lead the customer technical support team focused on the efficient and effective applications, solutions, and services in the flexible packaging business unit.
main responsibilities:
* implementation of standard technology applications, services, and solutions in cooperation with ofc teams to respond to customer requirements.
* cooperation with technology development, qc laboratory, and psr in the development of identified technology solutions to ensure they comply with customer and market needs.
* continuous market and competitor observation from the technology point of view to ensure the development of competitive applications, services, and solutions to respond to market and customer needs.
* project management to provide defined technology solutions, applications, and services according to agreed timelines, budgets, and standards – monitored by senior colleagues.
* resolution of technology-related customer claims with ofc teams to provide optimized solutions to maximize customer satisfaction.
* compliance with hse rules and quality standards as well as chemical industry standards within the area of responsibility.
* iam technology application on a regional basis to ensure international accounts have state-of-the-art technology solutions and services.
* accurate and comprehensive documentation and reporting on technology portfolio developments and progress in line with defined standards.
* deal with external technical partners, market partners, and service providers within the area of responsibility as well as cooperate with technology counterparts within the group.
* lead and motivate staff to improve performance and continuously develop professional expertise.
role requirements:
* university degree in chemical engineering or chemistry.
* minimum 5 years of comprehensive experience in defined ink technology, coatings, polymers, adhesives (r&d, application service, technical service).
