*what you will do*
the procurement operations analyst is responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement-ptp project.
this role requires a broad understanding of procurement processes, data analystics skills as well as effective outreach to key stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration with procurement, accounts payable, field operations, and suppliers.
utilizing data analytics and power bi, the sr. Procurement analyst will develop and own recommendations for critical suppliers' containment, cost, and savings initiatives across all field domains in north america.
*how you will do it*
- collaborate with cross-functional teams such as accounts payable, procurement and field operations to align objectives, priorities, and execution plans.
- lead initiatives to ensure our key suppliers' accounts are up to date, using data-driven approaches to maintain continuous monitoring and remove barriers.
- collects and analyzes data systems, procedural activities and information flows, and assess the efficiency and costs of supply chain processes.
- utilize data analytics and power bi to create and execute action plans, monitor progress, and report on key metrics.
- resolve escalation issues and find data-supported resolutions.
- represent the business requirements of north america field.
- lead urgent problem-solving and process improvement efforts related to the procure to pay utilizing data and in partnering with key stakeholders
- along with leaders from finance and field operations, lead urgent problem solving and process improvement efforts related to procure to pay process
*what will you need*
- bachelor's degree in supply chain management, data analytics preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, procure to pay, or other applicable fields.
- proficiency in data analytics tools, including power bi, and strong skills in excel.
- experience in cost analysis, with strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and hold others accountable.
- ability to manage and prioritize organizational goals with the needs of the customer.
- capability to review projects, monitor and analyze progress, and make or recommend changes as required.
- high-level negotiation skills, self-management, and self-motivation.
