role overview:
the part-time coach will be mentored by the director of childhood development.
the role involves coaching between 5-25 classes per week ranging from preschool, elementary, and our park programs.
participating in professional development activities offered by the company.
training in operations and marketing is provided to ensure excellent customer service on the field, in the community, and over the phone.
key responsibilities:
1. coach between 8-20 classes per week.
2. available in the mornings to coach at our preschool locations.
3. provide remarkable customer service experience on the field, in the office, and in the community.
4. attend regular coaching meetings and additional training sessions in marketing and operations.
5. actively support children in all stages of development.
6. schedule and conduct community feel calls to families and monitor/report the individual progress of children.
required skills and qualifications:
1. must have completed or be enrolled in at least 6 units of early childhood education.
2. must be available 2-3 days per week plus saturdays.
3. looking for a 1-year commitment as part of the professional development journey.
4. must enjoy working with children, can be silly, and organized to complete administrative tasks on time.
5. strong problem-solving and improvisational skills.
hours and pay:
1. $17.50 per hour for assisting and training, $18-22.50 per hour for administrative hours.
2. mileage reimbursement at the federal irs mileage rate.
3. monthly cell phone reimbursement.
4. eligible for pay raise and promotion within the first 16 weeks of employment.
5. opportunities for bonuses, benefits, and pay raises with completion of specified units and training in early childhood education.
