*bat mexico is looking for a consumer insights executive*seniority level*:junior level*function*: digital business solutions*location*:monterrey*role positioning and objectives*reports to*:insights & foresights lead*geographic scope*:usa*what you will be accountable for*- support for consumer tracking assets, driving deep understanding of incidence and cross-category consumer dynamics across the nicotine category (cigarettes, vapor, oral products) including trends, brand cdf, brand equity, demographic profiles, brand attitudes, and barriers/drivers to adoption.- identify, onboard, and leverage next generation agile platforms to address evolving insights needs to support longitudinal analysis (switching, inflows/outflow, source of business), new launch tracking, buyer studies, market basket, channel dynamics, etc.- be a key contact and subject matter expert for consumer track data sources, providing tool support and educating internal partners on the understanding and navigation of these.- effective collaboration with third party providers, including project supervising data integrity, ensuring functionality of our bi tools and developing new features.- deliver continuous information, analysis, and advice, allowing partners to find answers for key business questions and to develop consumer-led brand and marketing strategies, supporting corporate objectives.- prepare and update periodic and ad-hoc reports with effective data collection and analysis, creative visualizations and impactful storytelling including clear, actionable recommendations.- drive deployment of global solutions and standards, but also ensure solutions are having the right mix between standardization and tailoring to drive adoption and to collec value locally.
*essential experience, skills and knowledge*- 3-5 years consumer/shopper/market insights experience at a leading consumer-minded company, whether that be at a consumer package goods company or a market research company- university degree or equivalent experience in economics, marketing or finance- experience with proprietary research projects- excellent english and spanish written, oral and presentation/interpersonal skills- strong analytics and data management experience with proven track record of analytical thinking including an actionable insights approach and excellent storytelling skills.- capabilities in interpreting and manipulating large amounts of data.- ability to analyse disparate research projects and data sources, identifying, understanding, and communicating how different initiatives are connected and pointing towards the same insights and learnings.
