We are seeking a dynamic hr business partner (hrbp) people partner to support the walmart global tech mexico center, focusing on our technology and corporate teams. This individual will act as the first line people partner, handling essential business activities related to people processes, compensation, legal coordination, recruiting partnership and people development initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with various teams in walmex to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and a high level of cross-functional support.
key responsibilities:
* maintain accurate and updated people systems by submitting necessary movements (manager changes, lateral moves, exits)
* create new job codes, positions, or organizational structures as needed
* manage the operational termination processes, coordinating with various teams (hr lead, legal, finance, payroll) to ensure a smooth transition
* generate and present monthly hc (headcount) reports to us teams (finance, people)
* partner with local people lead to prepare and submit compensation-related cases (adjustments for promoted associates, sign-on bonuses, awards, mip payouts, annual increases) to payroll for both the tech and corporate populations
* provide daily support to leaders and associates
* partner with recruitment in the hiring process and administrative tasks
* assist on the hr onboarding to new hires
* assist in functional reporting to track and manage people reporting lines across various locations
qualifications:
* degree in business administration, organizational psychology or similar career
* fluent in english and speaking
preferred skills:
* experience with hr reporting and analytics
* ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
* strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
* strong organizational and project management skills.
