- we conduct hundreds of live auctions each year around the world. It takes a hardworking team of energetic people in a wide variety of full-time and part-time roles to conduct a successful multi-million dollar auction - from equipment inspectors, yard managers and operators to administrative staff and customer service representatives.- the auction coordinator will be responsible for controlling items through our warehouse staging area and reviewing the merchandising coordinator’s inspection reports. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: determining method of sale, assisting with and reviewing basic inspection on items, pricing items with our proprietary system and preparing items for public viewing with in depth quality
responsibilities
- responsible for performing joint inventory with government staff for government shipments.
- determine best option of our available sales channels to maximize returns for the company
- determine ideal quantity for grouping items into lots and pricing with our proprietary system
- leads the evaluation and the accuracy of inspection reports from the merchandising coordinator by reviewing photographs of the equipment and overall condition assessments.
- identifies and verifies the quality and category type for all incoming items.
- ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
- perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- experience providing excellent customer service to customers and colleagues.
- strong computer skills, including the ability to learn new programs.
- excellent written and verbal communication skills (on this job your most valuable tools will be the 2-way radio, a cell phone and a computer).
- ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
