*the job requirements*:
- proactively communicate with clients regarding the status of their files and address their inquiries promptly and professionally.
- assist in gathering necessary information and documents from clients for various engagements.
- track deadlines for various tasks and ensure all work is completed on time and within budget.
- prioritize tasks effectively and manage workload efficiently.
- assist with preparing and filing payroll tax returns and 1099 forms.
- communicate with irs agents and government agencies on behalf of clients as needed.
- research and gather information to support client inquiries and issues.
- organize and maintain digital client files in google drive using a consistent and efficient system.
- optimize and streamline internal systems and processes to improve efficiency.
- take comprehensive meeting notes and ensure they are translated into actionable tasks for the team.
- track task progress and follow up with team members.
