leadventure is looking for a product owner to help us drive the vision and implementation of our state-of-art digital analytics tagging system, to provide digital analytics insights across multiple web platforms and thousands of sites.
this individual will play an essential role in the organization by enabling it to build insights to understand the customer journey and how to optimize websites for customer success.
this person will oversee the roadmap for our organization-wide tagging system.
this individual will be the steward of data transformation and third-party integration with a tag management system.
this will include working together with the analytics team, leadventure's data lake engineers and stakeholders across the organization, including marketing, operations, sales, it, and more.
*here is more of what you'll get to do*:
- own the definition, implementation and adoption of our web data layer and web tags/pixels
- build, prioritize, and maintain team backlog for sprint iteration planning.
- work closely with web developers, data engineers, and it to ensure seamless tracking implementation, data collection, and multichannel data integration.
- work with stakeholders to proactively identify reporting needs for current and future products; develop recommendations for collecting necessary data over time
- translate customer requirements and product vision into clear epics and user stories.
clearly articulate the 'why' in addition to the 'what' while educating business stakeholders on digital analytics
- oversee the maintenance of our tag management platform, releases, and enhancements needed to support business processes and goals
- provide motivation, collaboration, and guidance to the development team to build according to your design.
- build relationships with the main stakeholders: directors, product managers, and internal leadership team to ensure that your designed system architecture meets everyone's expectations
- actively participate in the development process and bring clarity to the team's work.
- collaborate with team stakeholders to triage issues.
- become a go-to sme regarding tracking and analytics tooling and an evangelist for a data driven culture within leadventure
*you'll thrive in this role if you have*:
- 3+ years of experience in product management
- 3+ years of experience with digital analytics and tool administration systems (google analytics, piwik, etc)
- 3+ years of experience utilizing a tag management platform (google tag manager, adobe dtm, tealium, etc)
- knowledge of software development lifecycle (sdlc) like agile
- experience with data layer concepts, data modeling & governance, digital analytics implementation, and event handling methods via the dom event model
- proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, and to work effectively with customers, development, and sales groups.
- proven ability to summarize and present complex findings and technical information clearly and concisely to various technical and management levels
- creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, combined with an internal drive to stay on top of emerging industry trends
- a natural tendency to set goals, demonstrate a 'go-getter' attitude, and take initiative with little oversight
- analytical mind with a passion for digging into complex questions with an evidence-based approach
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- experience using javascript, html, css (websites and spas) preferred
- familiarity with etl and data modeling, specifically in aws data lake environment preferred
- familiarity with data visualization tools including bi tools like powerbi, tableau, or amazon quicksight
