the financial analyst, global fp&a will be based in kearney’s mexico city office. The position is remote with an option to commute into the mexico city office as needed. This is an exciting position where candidates can grow their career in finance while also interacting with individuals globally. The role will provide an opportunity to learn the intricacies of corporate finance, p&l structure, forecasting and planning, month-end accounting, reporting, and systems such as sap, anaplan, power bi and others.
key responsibilities
corporate reporting
* collect and organize financial data from various systems/sources; analyze p&l data and quality check the reports for accuracy, adjusting as necessary.
* partner with global accounting colleagues to ensure our support functions are reported accurately.
* process forecast and plan models for global support & corporate planning units.
* prepare and distribute regular financial reports including powerpoint presentations on topics such as sg&a, corporate, etc.
* manage the internal job code process which is a key control for financial tracking.
* assist the manager of global fp&a in developing new reporting requirements.
global reporting
* learn kearney systems/reporting structure and use this knowledge to manage the total firm p&l consolidation data pulls and ancillary reports.
* create powerpoint decks and presentations for senior leadership (e.g., total firm performance summaries, regional performance summaries, etc.).
* maintain dashboards and become an expert on power bi ad hoc pulls.
* assist with special financial projects and ad hoc analysis as required by management.

we want to hear from you if you:
* have a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance.
* have 1 - 3 years of work experience or relevant internship experience.
* are proficient in english, both oral and written.
* are proficient in microsoft excel and powerpoint; power bi, sap, and anaplan are a plus.
* have deep finance and accounting knowledge; experience in budgeting and financial planning and analysis is a plus.
* have strong communication, organizational and project management skills and an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* possess a strong work ethic with desire to learn new tasks and grow professionally.
* have an analytical mindset and ability to simplify complex issues.
