*your tasks and responsibilities*:
- manage all fp&a, controlling, reporting, and accounting operations of the factory.
- manage month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site.
- analyze variances and communicates explanations to management with recommended actions.
- manage and guide monthly forecasting and yearly budgeting process of financial statements.
- manage and drive product costing: strategic product costs planning, long term product costs roadmap, budgets, evas for new products and projects, reconciliation with actual budget v/s actual variance.
- analyze, reconcile and bridge as well as drive productivity initiatives to bring cost reductions.
- manage finance team (+10 hc) and drive high performance, efficiency, effectiveness culture. Integrates and train new staff while leading the continued professional development of the existing team.
- focus on financial process improvements, support and drive plant and department strategy, lead digitalization and automation, performance dashboards and key financial reports, encouraging new technologies.
- be a strong key player, who collaborates with management team and senior management to explain results, provide proactive support and consultation, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations, and lead the development of complex analysis.
- monitor and implement plant internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks.
- ensures true and fair view of financial statements, with proper accounting in accordance with ifrg international financial reporting guidelines as well as company´s statutory requirements and guidelines.
*your qualifications and experience*:
- you have a commercial or technical university degree as well as long-term professional experience in leadership within a manufacturing and/or controlling environment
- you are used to process large amounts of data in a target-oriented manner and, if necessary, preparing it in a way that is appropriate for the addressee
- you have a high degree of operational process understanding
- you recognize digitization as an opportunity and productivity driver
- expert on sap, strong ms excel skills; desired power bi, tableau, knime and/or other digital tools
- spanish and english advanced
- excitement and drive for change while being empathetic to a successful organizations' culture
- effective communication, presentation, and networking skills up to executive level inspire and motivate others to deliver better results
- you take ownership and have the ability to work independent and you take initiative
- your strengths are a management collaboration attitude and execution as well as a flair for mastering complexity and building trust with others
- as a key player you act in the definition of the plant strategy and in the achievement of strategic and business objectives incl. lean and change management
