general function
under the general supervision of the talent acquisition coordinator, this position is responsible to source and provide management with competent and qualified candidates for vacancies in the company at manufacturing level in all departments. Identifies candidates, coordinates the selection process and the interviews with company personnel involved in the recruitment process.
specific responsabilities
1. partners with sr recruiters and supervisors to define the candidate’s profile to fill vacant positions and to develop timely, cost-effective search strategies.
2. coordinates with the medical department to program the admissions exams required to fill the open position. Coordinates scheduling of psychological assessment.
3. coordinates the recruitment process, including: screening resumes, arranging interview schedules, carrying out the interviews and creating effective advertising, utilizing a variety of recruitment sources (e.g., print, internet media and social media).
4. follows up on hired personnel during their first month of employment to detect possible causes of desertion, to answer questions concerning the associate’s position and to orient new associates during their probationary period with the company.
5. recommends solutions to reduce absenteeism, rotation and voluntary termination of the hourly personnel in kohler.
6. works with manager-staffing to continuously develop and implement process improvement initiatives in the areas of recruitment and hiring.
7. checks and verifies the job applicant background information and references.
8. assists in other office tasks as needed.
9. complies with the health and safety roles and responsibilities established for this position (see responsibilities chart by position).
10. responsible for the dissemination of vacancies, and internal communication activities related to talent acquisition.

education and experience requirements
education: preference bachelor’s degree.
experience: preference 1 to 3 years experience as recruiter.
formation: preference working knowledge of microsoft windows based software applications. Bilingual skills preferred. Preference have knowledge of employment law, behavioral interviewing and assessments techniques.
