bews security is responsible for end-to-end security matters within the business area (enterprise and product security). Our role is to ensure that the ericsson security strategy and global guidelines are in place and aligned with the new business under the responsibility of ericsson enterprise wireless solutions. This team was created one year ago and is full of energy to make things happen. The director of security governance will manage a team whose responsibilities encompass: the security certifications and attestations necessary to support the enterprise business, information security management (part of ericsson isms), local security, steering documents (part of ericsson global security steering documents), third-party security risk management, info/it security risks, and security awareness. Bews security has a presence in europe (romania and sweden), india, and the us. This employee should be based in plano or boise.
what you will do
the director of security governance should have expertise in enterprise companies that possess multiple certifications and a presence worldwide. This professional will support the strength of security within the ba, so he/she should have a strong collaborative, hands-on, and positive mindset.
the director of security governance will be engaged in several initiatives that include implementation of ways of working, supporting ongoing projects (e.g., isms), and supporting the business by answering questions, proposing awareness activities, and identifying new ways of working (when applicable). Part of the daily responsibilities includes managing a high-performing team, removing roadblocks, and guiding them to the correct initiatives. This professional should also work in partnership with other departments like it, product, legal, and any other support function within the organization.

the skills you bring
* bachelor’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
* experience in information, it, and cyber security frameworks and implementation of industry best practices.
* solid experience in the coordination of security frameworks like nist 800-53, iso 27001, and the interconnection of these frameworks with country regulations (us, eu, and asia).
* solid experience with the management of different attestations (e.g., soc 2, irap) and certifications (e.g., pci).
* strong background in implementing new technologies, security frameworks, and devsecops practices.
* experience in third-party & supplier cybersecurity assurance: including software development security, risk management, and security posture assessments.
* evaluates key business challenges; directs the development of new or innovative solutions.
* proven experience in designing and implementing security assurance over network/cloud infrastructures and developing security architecture standards.
* advanced skills in security metrics, measurements, and reports.
* relevant certifications such as cisa, cism, cissp, and other security qualifications.
* strong leadership skills and experience with high-performance teams.
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* excellent communication and collaboration abilities, including the ability to persuade leaders to act in accordance with the approved security strategy and tactical plans.

your pay: the salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
* $137,600 - $206,400

For california employees, we offer a subsidized hmo option through kaiser. Ericsson enterprise wireless solutions also offers subsidized dental and vision coverage.
your financial security: we invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Our 401(k) plan has a 4% company match and immediate vesting. Employees will also receive company-paid employee basic life and ad&d insurance and company-paid disability benefits.
your time: your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided up to 40 days of paid time off per year, including 15 days of accrued annual vacation, 3 personal days, 7 paid holidays, 4 floating holidays, 10 sick days, and 1 volunteer day. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date.
