*job responsibilities
- manage financial statements and dashboards
- capture of company service payments on hsbc portal.
- assist the payroll supervisor in the preparation of the monthly closing.
- keep files in a timely manner.
- reconcile and present payments to the sat in digital form for the generation of cfdi.
- generate and upload files for dispersion of hsbc payroll and food vouchers.
- help prepare and maintain accounting records
- facilitate and help reconcile with local payments to suppliers for purchases and services.
- help controller prepare financial statements in a timely manner.
- prepare a reconciliation of accounting balances of the statement of financial position, between the company - mexican (mxgaap) and the us company (usgaap), on a quarterly basis.

- maintain and reconcile accrual balances
- manage and ensure audits are completed promptly and reconcile any findings.
- confirm bank details corresponding to supplier registrations and modifications.
- obtain an opinion on the fiscal situation from the sat, verbally; with respect to prospective suppliers.
- prepare and present the required declarations and reports to the mexican authorities.
- prepare and enter the "onesource tax provision" internet portal, the income tax calculation under generally accepted accounting principles in the united states of north america (fas109 gaap).
- present the electronic files related to electronic accounting before the tax administration service (sat).
- prepare and provide information for internal and external audits.
- check and analyze reconciliation of accounting balances prepared by manila shared services
- support in any and all administrative tasks, assigned by the controller, that are requested.
- month end journal entries
- assist cost accountant in preparation of us customs cost submission work papers
- perform financial analysis as required
- pay, reconcile and attend to the vat receivables and payable amounts to and from the governmental authorities
*basic qualifications
- bachelor's degree in an accounting related field.
- excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- minimum of three years' experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial modeling.
- knowledge of relevant tax laws in accordance with the local, state, and national governmental authorities.
- bilingual english and spanish 70%, writing and speaking.

- master's degree or higher in an accounting related field.
- experience on maquiladora operations.
