about the role
as a finance application support analyst, you'll be the first line of support for customers using our established suite of products which include infor sunsystems, oracle netsuite and our in house developed software unifi. You'll play a critical role in helping users resolve functional and technical queries related to these suite of finance applications. This is a fantastic opportunity for finance professionals looking to shift into a technology driven role, with structured training and long-term career paths in either support or consulting.
the ideal candidate would have a good understanding of finance functions such as gl, ap, ar, fixed assets, budgeting etc.
role responsibilities;
- deliver 1st line support for all finance products finansys support.
- provide support via email, phone call, remote sessions and the customer support portal.
- investigate, assist and resolve issues and queries, ensure timely resolution of support cases inline with the sla.
- collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- management of support queue ensuring continuous case progression to completion for cases assigned both to you and those assigned to others.
- personal responsibility for assigned cases, ensuring they are fully updated and proactively working to resolution.
- maintain documentation of known issues, troubleshooting steps, and fixes by documenting and updating internal knowledge base factsheets.
- continual self improvement by completing training material provided by finansys and keeping up to date with new features and product releases.
- work both individually and as part of the support team with other support consultants.
- build product knowledge and develop subject matter expertise over time.
about the candidate
essential skills;
- excellent english skills, both oral and written.
- strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
- minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance (corporate or general).
- accounting qualification such as contador público (cp), aat/acca or equivalent.
- minimum 3 years experience working with erp systems such as infor sunsystems, oracle netsuite, microsoft dynamics, sap, or oracle financials.
- strong communication and customer service skills, with experience communicating via email and phone.
- excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritise tasks effectively.
- excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve system issues and user queries.
- good documentation skills for internal and external use.
