here at h&m méxico we are in search of an experienced regional ncg specialist to join our team.
is this role for you?
as a, ncg specialist latam, with partnership of the senior regional ncg specialist you are responsible for delivering on the non-commercial goods (ncg) strategy for your markets in the latin americas region.
this role will support, develop and advise on all ncg activities.
set goals and targets and follow-up on them.
the ncg specialist latam will drive strong cooperation with team members and stakeholders, both locally and centrally.
this position is based in mexico city and reports to our senior regional ncg specialist.
*core responsibilities includes but is not limited to*:
secure a cost-efficient on time delivery of ncg in the right quantity and in a sustainable way for the region.
prepare, present and/or analyze all business cases connected to ncg and logistics investments.
continuously, by staying up to date on technology development and industry standards, propose investments and/or actions to improve our logistic efficiency.
develop supporting documentation to assist your markets in reaching set goals.
lead, coordinate and oversee the purchasing, ordering, fabrication, delivery and inventory of all interior items.
ensures that relevant information is provided and received to and from all parties involved in the project on time and in a structured way.
educate your market teams on ncg management and advise them in projects and procurement.
work closely with expansion, visual dept., accounting dept.
and project coordinators (operational purchase team) to secure routines for handling extra orders, missing material, delayed shipments and claims.
set regional goals and targets in regard to ncg and drive these together with your markets.
provides monthly cost follow-up for ncg to relevant stakeholders.
responsible for managing existing store inventories to prevent loss.
investigate possibilities and implement solutions of economies of scale for logístical solutions such as transports and warehousing.
secures processes and procedures for ncg products to be reused between existing stores and between countries within region americas.
*additional accountabilities*:
responsible for having the budget overview for 750 store locations in 8 markets for ncg.
create conditions to enable performance of teams and individuals.
strengthen teamwork and foster cross functional collaboration.
*what you'll need to succeed*:
bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of relevant experience within ncg.
retail construction and/or facility management background highly desired.
experience setting and implementing ncg strategies.
strong knowledge of building materials and interior.
previous experience in project management.
knowledge in ms office, more specifically outlook, excel, powerpoint and ms teams.
autonomous and handle problems with creativity while maintaining a good balance between long and short-term planning.
strong communication skills, both in giving and receiving feedback to people but also regarding products and routines.
enjoy teamwork and effectively collaborates with a group of diverse people in order to achieve set goals and targets.
advanced level of english.
required domestic and international travel up to 20% of time.
