Performs, monitors and controls transport operation activities for planned, unplanned and emergency needs, support proactively the company’s domestic and international supply chain of raw materials and finished goods.
The individual will need to be detailed oriented and well organized to ensure payment of freight invoices in north america within the freight audit and payment system.
- *job responsibilities (out of the regular business hours / 2nd shift)*:_
- main point of contact for carriers on billing topics
- daily activity in freight audit and payment portal reviewing/ processing carrier invoices
- tracking of merchandise, tracking of all modes of transport (air, ocean, land, inbonds and domestic)
- expedited tracking direct communication with transnational shippers and lsp for shipment status
- monitor and support daily expedites shipments that requires close follow up, look for best options on availability and routing schedule.
- intra mexico freight monitor, coordination of milk runs schedule
- track and trace for in transit carriers report of inbound and outbound
- propose and implement cost saving initiatives
- *qualifications*:_
- bachelor degree in business
- 1 - 5 years of professional work experience
- ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time staying organized and with great attention to detail
- good analytical skills
- good written and verbal communication skills
- results oriented
- motivated/energetic
- operates well working independently or in a team environment
- proficient with microsoft office suite (excel, word, powerpoint, outlook)
- english: advanced
