*what you will do*:
this position provides essential support to the technology procurement tower.
w ill support both inside the communications tower and to the wider technology procurement org.
the key focus of this role in fy23 and fy24 will be to support the migration of us mobility services to verizon.
this work will involve being part of a project team alongside the us mobility it ops team.
*how you will do it*:
- everyday use of excel spreadsheets for tracking progress
- liaise with the project team to ensure weekly actions are completed
- work within the tem database to validate the movement of lines between suppliers
- track volume and spend
- produce monthly data to demonstrate project progress to a wider audience
- additional duties outside the migration project as below:
- work with latam it & procurement teams to support latam tem expansion
- assist the communications category manager to add mexico internet into tem
- update the wave system to show savings related to latam initiatives
- support us & canada telecom payment process by identifying missed payments
- track and reduce late fees on north america telecom billing
- update tem system inventory especially circuits located at customer premises
- support the removal of services related to divested entities in the americas
- track progress on the granite growth project
- support requests for reports across the technology procurement tower
*what we look for*:
*required*
- *1 year+ experience of working with telecommunications billing or finance *(either mobile or fixed)
- degree in *business, finance, or it.
*
- must be a fluent english speaker.
- ability to work as part of a remote team
- high level of microsoft office skills - especially excel
- excellent communication and personal skills
- high level of attention to detail
*preferred*
- demonstrates initiative, is conscientious, detail oriented and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility
