the university of scranton department of nursing invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track faculty specialist position in the area of women’s health nursing starting in august 2025. This is an in-person, on-site position; regular on-campus presence is required. There are opportunities to teach in the undergraduate, graduate, and dnp programs; teaching and service are required. The department of nursing is strongly committed to excellence; the department’s graduates are recognized for being ready to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, holistic, person-centered care at all levels and across many settings.

minimum requirements
applicants must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a registered nurse in the commonwealth of pennsylvania.
a master’s or doctoral degree in nursing is required.
applicants must have 3-5 years of recent professional nursing practice experience in area(s) of teaching responsibilities.
preferred qualifications
certification as an advanced practice nurse is preferred.
