*applications architect*
to support our rapid growth, we are expanding our development team and hiring various innovation technical roles.
In this exciting role, you will provide your expertise to support the agile development team and the strategic roadmap for cloud security and innovation products. You will influence architecture decisions, provide insightful and creative development solutions, and develop innovative products using your impressive technical development capabilities, critical and creative thinking, and passion for fast-paced problem solving. *required technical skills*:
- bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on development experience
- experience as a java developer (+node.js & python)
- strong familiarity with enterprise design patterns in java
- strong experience with java & javascript frameworks
- comprehensive knowledge in web-based applications architecture experience
- familiar with owasp (open web application security project) conventions
- proficient in integrations including the creation and implementation of integration architecture, api design and build
- emphasize on open, partner and internal including the following web services: soap, xml-rpc, json-rpc, rest apis
- deep domain knowledge of javascript mv-vm/mvc frameworks
- paas/iaas experience: aws, microsoft azure and/or google cloud platform
*strongly desired skills (not required)*:
- application integration experience with auth0 & okta
- experience with iam, appsec, sso, saml, life cycle management (lcm)
- oauth, jwt, graphql (query language) experience
- ability to define logical and physical architecture and document the architecture using uml (unified modeling language) diagrams
*duties and responsibilities*
- work with a team of full-stack developers to define and implement the logical and physical architecture.
- record the architecture (both up-front design and post-release as built)
- provide development and implementation for architecture design concepts (70/30 architect/developer)
- define domain boundaries, api functionality, and data structure to promote clean separation of responsibility in soa (service oriented architecture) / micro apps/ microservices environment.
- help identify coding patterns and anti-patterns and carry out implementation of the patterns through code and design reviews.
- perform root cause analysis, technology evaluation, and design spikes to define architecture supporting high-quality resilient software
- promote improvements in ci/cd, including version control, continuous integration, project build and test automation, to maximize developer efficiency
- code, refactor, design simple, working solutions and troubleshoot system issues.
- analyze and resolve critical, time-sensitive production tickets.
