thebusiness excellence engineer staff must have a clear understanding of the strategies of the plantand must be capable of translating these strategies into measurable goals.
the responsibilitieswill include establishing the bases or current condition, communicate / lead improvement projectsfrom establish the strategic plant up to the implementation, systematization of the improvement ofthe performance measure and compare the result with the world-class standards.
for that, thetitle holder must become an expert in the use of jjps tools, six sigma, lean manufacturingsystem, must possess knowledge about product costs, must have experience in manufacturingand the vision of the business.
*duties & responsibilities*under general direction and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and locallaws/regulations and corporate johnson & johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:- is responsible for the analysis and development of a strategic plan for the area or process inwhich he/she is involved, including the chain supply, and for establish short term and long-termgoals.- is responsible of ensuring that the goals of his/her projects are aligned with the strategic plan ofthe plant.- is responsible of ensuring that the plans of the projects for the different areas / manufacturing.plants and/or supply chain are finished on the allowed time and that the previously establishedresults are reached.
- is responsible for updating the performance measure system.- is responsible for the training about the system and change for the people involved in thedifferent areas, such as manufacturing, supply chain, materials, etc.- is responsible for updating and informing the plant management about the results.- coordinates meetings periodically to present the improvement, possible problems and status ofeach project.- is responsible for maintaining an open and effective communication with other project leaders.within the plant and in other plants.- will be evaluated about the obtained results, the time and impact in the performance measuresof the manufacturing processes
