diagnose, develop, and implement methods and procedures to ensure most effective utilization of resources and provide the best possible service to the entire facility.
partner with site leadership to enforce a safety culture that ensures a safe working environment for all employees that goes beyond complying with state and federal regulations.
provide support through troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, training and sharing of information to all departments and personnel.
ensures compliance with procedures, instructions and forms established in the quality management system related to his area and develops, along with the manufacturing supervisors, new procedures that are require.
supervises that work orders are correctly assigned by verifying priorities, making sure that personnel are adequately planned and that the necessary resources are assigned to provide preventive and corrective maintenance, attend services requests and projects.
validates that the acquisitions of tools, equipment and services are carried out through the established procedures, using the purchase requisition system or alternative processes defined by the company, making sure to have adequate technical support and care of the budget.
ensures that all technical documentation on plc's, instrumentation, and equipment (blueprints, manuals, sop's, maintenance procedures, pm's, inventory/parts purchasing) is properly stored and maintained.
ensure appropriate corrective actions are identified and implemented by utilizing key maintenance performance indicators to create overall equipment effectiveness.
look for opportunity areas in the company in terms of savings, greater productivity and safety.
manage the maintenance team to include training, development, directing, monitoring, and counseling.
coach and develop supervisors and maintenance technicians to achieve continuous improvement in performance levels.
partner with hr on all employee relations issues.
promotes a positive work environment among his subordinates and builds efficient work teams in a safe work environment.
experiência y requisitos
b.s.
degree in mechanical, electronic or electric engineering or related field 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulatory compliance requirements and, in good manufacturing practices.
strong understanding of cost containment and budgetary principles.
ability to develop and implement predictive and preventative maintenance best practices.
proven ability to select, lead, motivate, develop, and retain a team of employees.
strong communication skills, both written and verbal in english and spanish.
strong team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call as needed experience in troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
experienced in microsoft office programs and design software (autocad, solid works, proe) outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
