Responsibilities:
1. prepare monthly reports of results, monthly forecasts, and annual operating plans.
2. responsible for activities related to accounting, overall p&l management, and balance integrity.
3. maintain accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports. Create journal entries to correct balances in the general ledger.
4. prepare reconciliations of asset and liability balances from one accounting period to the next, reconciling the general ledger balances to the supporting documentation.
5. establish and maintain accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, prepare financial reports, and safeguard the organization's assets.
6. support internal controls review: due diligence (customers/suppliers review before updating the system), credit limit for customers, control file, etc.
7. actively prepare timely and accurate financial data to provide meaningful and insightful analysis to the plant manager and department leaders to support plant operations or objectives.
8. work closely with the fp&a team for any booking needs or corrections and collaborate on customer profitability processes.
qualifications and education requirements:
1. bachelor of accounting.
2. previous experience in an accounting role.
3. strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
4. ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
5. desirable experience in contpaq.
6. proficient in excel.
7. advanced english.
