*job description summary*: hr support for client group leaders, managers and employees on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, hr process expertise and other general hr activities including payroll and employee & union relations.
individuals in this category act as the hr manager of record for a client group.
the role is key to execute people initiatives, customer support, functional excellence, and process improvement.
*roles and responsibilities*
- a first point of contact for employees & managers who provides leadership, coaching and support for individual employee needs & hr processes.
for use in businesses that are operating in the hr partnership model.
- broadening knowledge of practices and procedures in hr discipline.
- ensure hris data integrity/accuracy.
- daily maintenance of hris ; new employees onboarding, benefit enrollment, updating employee information.
- assist talent acquisition team as necessary
- liaison with payroll team
- employee engagement programs design & execution
- support organization & talent development initiatives
- employee & union relations support
- autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework.
resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
- consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters.

*required qualifications*
- this role requires 3 to 5 years experience in the human resources & employee human resource management.
knowledge level is comparable to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
