main responsibilities:
1. develop and implement sales strategies to increase bookings from the u.s. travel and tourism market.
2. build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, wholesalers, tour operators, and other industry partners in the u.s.
3. represent the hotel group at trade shows, industry events, and sales missions in the u.s. to promote our properties.
4. conduct regular business trips within the u.s. to meet with clients and explore new business opportunities.
5. negotiate contracts, rates, and promotional agreements with travel partners.
6. monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
7. collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and sales materials targeting the u.s. market.
8. prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to assess sales effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
9. ensure excellent communication with internal teams, including reservations, operations, and marketing, to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
requirements:
1. valid u.s. visa for business travel.
2. strong negotiation and communication skills.
3. results-driven mindset with a deep understanding of the travel industry.
4. ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
5. location: the candidate may choose their base location within these options or reside in their current city if within these areas: cancun, playa del carmen, los cabos, puerto vallarta, nuevo vallarta, zihuatanejo.
