About the role we seek a highly motivated andexperienced accounting team leader to oversee and guide ouraccounting team.
this role is responsible for ensuring the accuracyand efficiency of financial reporting, managing accountingoperations, and supporting team development.

additionally, the ideal candidate must have experiencein real estate accounting and preferably have worked with gaap andu.s.
tax and accounting regulations.
key responsibilities - leadand mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support.
-oversee bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution ofdiscrepancies.
- supervise balance sheet reconciliations tomaintain financial accuracy.
- review and analyze accountsreceivable reserves and bad debt, identify potential risks, andimplement corrective actions.
- ensure proper management of prepaidexpenses, fixed assets, and depreciation & amortizationschedules.
- oversee the preparation of real estate (re) taxschedules and insurance schedules for compliance and reporting.
-approve accrual and reclass entries, ensuring proper expenserecognition.
- conduct variance analysis, identifying financialtrends and risks.
- monitor and review management fees, ensuringcompliance with agreements.
- review and finalize the monthlyreporting package, providing financial insights for strategicdecision-making.
- drive process improvements to enhance financialefficiency and accuracy.
- collaborate with internal and externalauditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards andpolicies.
qualifications & skills bachelor's degree inaccounting, finance, or a related field.
conversational englishproficiency level.
7+ years of accounting experience, with at least3 years in a leadership role.
strong knowledge of gaap andfinancial reporting.
experience working with u.s. tax andaccounting regulations.
experience in real estate accounting ishighly preferred.
proficiency in accounting software such asquickbooks, netsuite, sap, nexus, or oracle.
advanced excel skills(pivot tables, vlookup, financial modelling).
proven ability tolead and develop high-performing accounting teams.
strongproblem-solving and decision-making skills.
excellentorganizational and time management skills.
