due to internal progression, we are currently recruiting an it 2nd line engineer for our mexico city office at bsi.
as a 2nd line engineer, you will be providing second-line it support, covering the design, procurement, installation, upgrading, operation, control and maintenance.
you will utilize effective use of it infrastructure components and monitors their performance to all bsi users.
we will trust you to provide technical management of an it operation and ensuring that the agreed service levels are met and all relevant policies and procedures are adhered to.
this includes investigations and managements on adopting the correct tools, techniques and (including automation) processes for the management of systems & services.
you will also oversee the scheduling and supervising all of it inventory, maintenance and installation work at our mexico city office.
you will need to be able to work flexibly to ensure coverage of core business hours of 08:00hrs-18:00hrs monday to friday.
the out of hours, weekend and other site coverage may be covered as necessary and as agreed within bsi it contractual obligations.
you must also be prepared to work offsite for set periods as appropriate for the role.

to thrive in this role, you are able to demonstrate:
- 5+ years of experience administering and troubleshooting windows and exchange servers
- 3+ years of experience handling laptop hardware troubleshooting, windows 10/11, collaboration tools (office 365, sharepoint, skype for business & teams) & apple ios/android phones
- knowledge in ad, intune / sccm modern workplace management and deployment
- high level of customer services and communication skills and able to handle a demanding, customer-facing environment
- good level of business english to collaborate effectively with the wider business across the continent
