Pmi certification is a plus apics, six sigma or other certification is a plus experience : this role will be responsible for project management of a number of projects in one or more it portfolios within the it global business service team. Projects will range in size and complexity and will focus on specific business areas or functions. Some will involve business process change and it aspects. Projects may target productivity improvement, cost reduction, total cost of ownership reduction (through improved system architecture) and/or compliance enhancement. Expected to work closely with business stakeholders and become a trusted advisor in technology, solutions development and process improvement execution. You will work collaboratively & cross-functionally to support successful execution of all approved and agreed projects. You will also be working closely with project management to regularly report progress and status. Knowledge : strong project management skills with proven results showing ability to influence, work with cross functional teams and pull together disparate resources into a high performing team. Excellent systems acumen, preferably with it and oracle experience. Proven record in identification and delivery of process improvement. Experience or exposure to key business functions, preferably in an international or complex business environment. Skills : ambition and drive, a self starter with a “can do” attitude. Responsibilities: manage multiple projects simultaneously. Work closely with both business & ipm to help identify, evaluate, prioritize and schedule potential new project work within a portfolio road map. This includes analysis of request and ideas for projects as well as developing recommended solutions to business issues. Seek and support opportunities for continuous improvement and process re-engineering activity worldwide take ownership and demonstrate clear leadership of assigned projects:: ensure compliance with, and leverage the it governance process, to effectively communicate project expectations (requirements, priorities, resources, cost benefit analysis, risks, etc), progress and status to the project team & management in a timely fashion work closely with ipm to contribute to and maintain a standard governance, project management life cycle (pmlc) and direct charge methodology. Ensure a consistent application of the governance, pmlc and direct charge methodology for all assigned projects from initial concept, design, and execution to post project review. Manage assigned projects to achieve successful on time execution of project deliverables through a combination of personal leadership and by providing appropriate coaching support to other team members in line with project plans. This particularly includes, but is not limited to, the identification and resolution of potential barriers become subject matter experts in the specific project processes that are the subject of improvement efforts.
