specific job summary
a front-line marketing representative, who qualifies leads, provides guest service and generates tour flow by performing the following duties.
expected contributions
1. performs more complex quantitative and qualitative analysis for business processes and/or projects. Often manages small projects, business processes or parts of larger ones.
2. responds to, solves, and makes decisions on more complex/non-routine business requests with limited to moderate risk.
3. responsible for own work and contributing to team, department and/or business results. May direct work of non-management staff.
4. assists more senior associates in achieving business results by:
o identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of business processes.
o providing training and technical guidance to less senior staff, where appropriate, and serving as point-of-contact for problem resolution.
o participating in setting department operating plans.
o recognizing and celebrating team successes.
o achieving results against budget within scope of responsibility.
5. demonstrates an awareness of personal strengths and areas for improvement and acts independently to improve and increase skills and knowledge.
6. performs other duties as appropriate.
specific expected contributions
1. positively represent the company at any location assigned. Maintain a collaborative working relationship with hotel and any other third-party company employees.
2. provide concierge services to all resort guests and members in keeping, maintaining the “service first, product second” approach.
3. provide excellent guest services, including accurate tourist information of the region.
4. inspire confidence in the company through professionalism.
5. determine guests' eligibility for promotional, gifted presentations, according to the standards described in training.
6. attract eligible guests to preview the company vacation club program using premiums (gifts).
7. fully inform and confirm every guest about the sales presentation, according to the standards described in training.
8. create curiosity about the vacation club and encourage guests to tour with an open mind.
9. complete the administrative work behind booking, manifesting, and confirming each sales presentation.
10. attend all mandatory meetings and training.
11. complete special projects as assigned by marketing supervisor.
candidate profile
successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong leadership and relationship skills as follows:
1. high school diploma required.
2. minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service, sales, or marketing.
3. bilingual, ability to speak english and spanish, fluently.
4. demonstrate an ability to deliver high level of customer service in all situations.
5. demonstrate the ability to build and develop strong work and guest relationships.
6. must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, prepares and reviews written documents accurately and completely, and answers telephones using clear and professional language.
7. develops and maintains positive working relationships with others, supports team to reach common goals, and listens and responds appropriately to the concerns of others.
8. stands, sits, or walks for extended periods or for an entire work shift. Ability to climb stairs.
9. moves, lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, and places objects weighing less than or equal to 35 pounds without assistance.
10. available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
11. performs other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
