* criticality of the position:
* the production manager will be responsible for managing and reviewing all production reporting departments in the production area, to support achieving business objectives with respect to production.
* position description:
* execute daily production schedules.
* supervise staff members to ensure that deadlines are met.
* liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.
* organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
* monitor production to resolve issues.
* supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.
* responsible for the day-to-day production plan and execution.
* lead scheduling, planning, and production control.
* review and improve the operational methods.
* motivate, support, and provide guidance to production staff.
* able to manage resources based on workload and flexibility to volume as required.
* ensure all safety and health standards are met to keep the organization accident-free.
* communicate regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
* evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
* establish a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.
* set productivity goals for each manufacturing team.
* develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
* ensure adequate scheduling of staff.
* determine the amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.).
* position requirements:
* the candidate must be fluent in both spanish and english, with written and verbal skills in both languages required.
* a degree in business, engineering, management, or a related field.
* proven experience as a production manager.
* strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
* experience in managing change.
* ability to delegate and hold accountability.
