purpose:
j&j medtech is recruiting fp&a supervisor, located in mexico city. The fp&a supervisor will lead, review, and provide accurate and timely financial and business analysis, supporting the organization through financial solutions in budgeting, planning, investments, and consolidations. This role acts as a key enabler in driving business decisions and ensuring financial excellence within the cluster. Candidate should be a results and performance driven individual, who can demonstrate these qualities through characteristics such as being innovative, adaptable, and eager to learn from others. The role requires exceptional collaboration skills to work with multiple stakeholders across different regions and teams.
you will be responsible for:
1. support financial planning activities, including budget consolidation, forecasting, commentaries and adherence to targets.
2. lead planning cycles, forecasting, and consolidation of p&l, balance sheet, and free cash flow providing variance analysis.
3. drive scenario planning and ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions.
4. influence decision-making by coordinating data collection, analyzing financial information, and preparing executive insights and framing to communicate to regional team.
5. develop and oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy in variance analysis, management decks, and closing reports.
6. partner with business unit finance and commercial teams to map risks, opportunities, and financial strategies.
7. responsible for consolidating opex budget and perform bva analysis for selected business partners.
8. ensure accurate reporting in tm1 and bravo systems.
9. support and promote global standard reporting processes to improve efficiency.
10. provide financial insights to commercial teams, ensuring accurate analysis of p&l variances, pricing, investments, and cost efficiencies.
qualifications
the successful applicant:
• bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related fields.
• minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in finance, with at least 2 years in fp&a related activities.
• fluent in both spanish and english.
skills & requirements:
• possess business sense and ability to identify business drivers behind financial numbers.
• builds and maintains trusted partnerships with collaborators across functions and leverages influential communication to develop business and financial strategies.
• integrates and uses various emerging digital technologies, tools, and visualization techniques as well as data science and artificial intelligence to drive value creation using finance systems, processes, and decision making.
• dynamic leader who is resourceful and inventive.
• curiosity, ability to learn and attention to detail.
• proficiency in microsoft excel and powerpoint is a must. Power bi knowledge is preferred.
• proven integrity and professionalism.
