Key experience and job requirements are as follows:
- general management: experience managing day-to-day operations in a fast-paced warehousing or manufacturing environment
- experience leading distribution center leadership & associate staff, including design of staff structure, hiring, training and scheduling. Ability to translate strategy into aspirational business goals that unite the warehouse team to meet strategic goals.
- experienced with broken case pick/pack operations, major us retailer compliance requirements, inventory control within warehouse setting and quality control/assurance for finished goods.
- design efficient workflow with key performance indicators (kpis) that align with the organizational strategy.
- logistics expertise: experience with mexican customs (import and export), immex manufacturing or warehousing environments, prior management and oversight of brokerage and 3pl providers
- prior budgetary responsibility to include capex management and material handling equipment
- conducts this function with the utmost integrity and transparency, fully complying with all company policies.
- process improvement: uses six sigma, or other process improvement methodology to develop and execute efficient and cost-effective solutions to align with the business objectives.
- delivers results: demonstrates a clear bias for action and a sense of urgency on priorities. Sets and communicates high standards for achievement.
