Job description
*responsibilities*:
- supervise up to 60 direct personnel.
- be leader for the production systems fundamental in his/her assembly line(s) or cell(s).
- complete all established paperwork related to his/her assembly line(s) or cell(s), including administrative and transaction records.
- comply with all the company policies and procedures and secure that all personnel under his/her supervision also comply with this requirement.
- backflush all wip material transaction.
- accomplish the established production schedule for quantity and timeframe.
- secure that the product produced in his/her assembly line(s) or cell(s), comply with the established requirements indicated in a drawing, specification, or any official document.
- able to communicate and negotiate with people other than those in his/her assembly line(s) or cell(s).
- develop personnel under his/her supervision, through cross-training and formal training.
*requirements*:
- 2 or more years' experience requires in electronics manufacturing (smt, tht, final assy) & automotive preferably.
- profile to manufacturing supervision position (ability to learn and proactivity)
- skilled in problem solving techniques, 8d, a3, dmaic, pdca and project management.
- ability to coach and motivate group leaders and operators to promote continuous improvement and waste elimination.
- core team leadership skills
- fully bilingual (english/spanish).
- ability and knowledge of windows system, tress supervisors, workflow, excel, word and sap.
- fully capable to use manufacturing techniques for decision making and problem solving like pareto, 5 why's, spc, fishbone, smed, 5's etc.
