*day-to-day responsibilities*:
- *
perform varied routine analysis on samples following standard test procedures, evaluations or physical properties testing on products or raw materials.

- * prepare lab and pilot plant batches of product, as directed.
*
- * prepare, monitor, and evaluate samples for aging and stability.
*
- * operate/be familiar with various appropriate instrumentation or equipment for various analyses.
*
- * have thorough knowledge of laboratory and process technology center techniques and equipment, and assist in developing/improving product evaluation methods, procedures, and processes.

- * assist in product formulation and process development.
*
- * collect, record, analyze and interpret test data.
explain any factors affecting reliability or accuracy of test data.

- * ensure equipment is functioning as designed and conduct routine maintenance of equipment assigned.

- * ensure assigned activities are conducted and documented according to quality requirements and systems; implement applicable preventive or corrective actions.
