royal caribbean group’s international marketing team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time digital asset specialist reporting to the manager, ecommerce experience.
this position will work on-site in royal caribbean’s mexico office from monday to thursday. Friday is a remote work-from-home day.
position summary:
the account executing digital asset specialist/ux-ui designer plays a vital role in supporting the email and web team’s creative needs by executing design projects that follow art direction and campaign guidelines. This position requires a strong functional knowledge of design and graphics editing software, particularly adobe creative suite (photoshop and illustrator). The creative associate will be responsible for scaling designs according to specifications for global markets, editing assets based on feedback, and managing time effectively to meet project deadlines. This position requires dependability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, timeline-driven environment.
essential duties and responsibilities:
* assist in the design, layout, and coordination of digital marketing collateral materials, including emails, web banners, and other web assets.
* collaborate with team members to gather information and materials needed from designated individuals to accomplish tasks within specified timeframes.
* familiarize yourself with brand guidelines, images, components, and overall brand identity to ensure consistency across all materials.
* work within existing brand guidelines and design templates to create image-based emails and digital assets for the email channel.
* proofread and review materials to ensure accuracy and high-quality work, adhering to established standards.
* remain open to receiving constructive feedback and implement changes as needed to improve designs and meet project goals.
qualifications:
* bachelor’s degree (b.a.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
* proficient in adobe creative suite, particularly photoshop and illustrator, with a strong portfolio demonstrating design capabilities.
* knowledge of the cruise or hospitality industry is a plus, providing context for design decisions and brand alignment.
* strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* ability to work independently with minimal supervision; may lead or direct the work of others.
* creative with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* knowledgeable in methodologies, tools, best practices, and processes relevant to the role.
* maintain a high level of proficiency and understanding of company efforts, programs, and policies at all times.
* strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
* energetic and enthusiastic approach to driving results; must be self-motivated, proactive, poised, and flexible.
