As a financial analyst, you will provide financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to aid planning or decision making.
This role evaluates and improves financial models and improves information reporting as appropriate. The financial analyst works with the cfo and business leaders to support overall corporate objectives, including mergers and acquisitions, sales operations, investor relations and other corporate-wide initiatives or special projects.
Key responsibilities
analyses business and financial data
creates financial models bases on analyses to support organizational decision making
evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures through data analysis and provide assistance in integrating acquisitions
develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders
develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data
provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management
produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
spearhead the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes
identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization
work closely with accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
support decision making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed, meaningful, and insightful reporting on business performance
performs other related duties as assigned

strong working knowledge of excel and financial modeling
excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (gaap)
bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
two years of professional experience as a financial analyst
