We're currently seeking an engineering account manager, an asset that plays a critical role in supporting customers, ensuring engineering efforts align with business requirements, and leveraging a deep understanding of the client's product offerings.
role & responsibilities:
client relationship management:
* build and maintain strong relationships with clients
* serve as the primary point of contact for technical and business inquiries
* address client concerns and ensure satisfaction with the client's solutions
sales and business development:
* identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services
* collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals and close deals
* meet sales targets and drive revenue growth from existing accounts
technical consultation:
* understand client technical requirements and recommend relevant solutions
* partner with engineering teams to develop customized solutions
* simplify complex technical concepts for clear client understanding
project coordination:
* ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
* manage project timelines and regularly update clients on progress
* act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve technical issues efficiently
market and industry analysis:
* stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity
* provide feedback to product development teams regarding evolving client needs
* other duties as assigned
requirements:
* 2+ years of experience working as an account manager for engineering and technical roles
* technical expertise: background in engineering, it, or a related field
* strong communication: ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders
* problem-solving skills: effectively address and resolve client challenges
* sales acumen: understanding of sales processes and account growth strategies
* this role demands a mix of technical knowledge, customer relationship skills, and a keen understanding of business strategy to ensure the client's solutions deliver value to clients in the manufacturing sector
