responsible for proactively implementing and maintaining global reliability and test solutions (grts) quality assurance team initiatives and strategies related to performance and conformance at site/location.

this role will collaborate across the facility with different areas to ensure the suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness of laboratory policies and procedures.
what you will do
1. providing oversight of laboratory test execution activities to ensure accurate and consistent testing procedures.
2. review and approval of testing methods, techniques, and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
3. collaboration with laboratory personnel to address and rectify any identified issues or deviations from established procedures.
4. conducting regular internal audits and inspections of laboratory practices, equipment, and documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
5. participating in the development and validation of new testing methods, processes, and protocols
6. delivering training programs to laboratory staff on quality assurance procedures, practices, and requirements
7. collaborating with external accreditation bodies, clients, and stakeholders to address quality-related concerns and ensure compliance with requirements.
8. providing guidance and support to laboratory staff during quality audits and inspections conducted by external bodies.
9. maintain oversight of the testing laboratory document control system (aka quality management system) to ensure continued compliance.
10. ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of testing procedures and results.
11. maintain corrective action status review process.
12. provide corrective action subject matter guidance/review root cause analysis and track corrective actions to maintain integrity and impartiality.
13. review impartiality and conflict of interest risk assessments for appropriate resolution.
14. approve test run/customer satisfaction survey revisions.
15. participate in customer complaint resolution process.
16. track requirements and maintain testing laboratory accreditations/certifications by way of continued correspondence with accreditation/certification bodies facilitating external audits.
17. oversight of the management review process, including intra-laboratory comparison (ilc)/proficiency testing (pt) plan compliance.
18. schedule, perform, review, and manage internal audits at defined frequency; providing laboratory management risk assessments, ensuring action is taken when required.
19. prepare monthly critical-to-quality (ctq) key performance indicators/metrics.
who you are (basic qualifications)
20. bachelor’s degree (engineering with expertise in lab test).
21. strong experience in quality assurance or quality control positions within manufacturing industry.
22. good understanding of quality management systems and standards as applicable to testing laboratories (iso 9001:2015, iatf 16949:2016, iso/iec 17025:2017).
23. product development experience .
24. experience conducting internal auditing (auditing methods).
25. knowledge of continuous improvement concepts and quality improvement tools, six sigma, lean, dmaic, pdca, msa, 8d problem solving, spc.
26. english advanced speaking.
