I. job summary:
1. responsible to die set up, and start up as well as process parameter review and improvement with the process engineer guidance, assure that all the process are with in process parameter specification.
2. promote the collaboration and joined effort of all the team member towards the continuous improvement.
ii. primarily job responsibilities:
1. responsible for the achievement of goals of the key process indicators (kpi).
1.1. S- safety and environmental, by improving the processes to meet our targets
1.2. Q- quality by controlling scrap reasons, quantity and improving process to reduce
1.3. D- delivery by improving ct and improving output to meet kpi
1.4. H- human resources. Supervision of process team and training activities for all the team
1. s- safety.
2.1. Assure the use on his persona and his teammates: safety devices (safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, sleeves, hard hat, crane use and rigging and lifting equipment).
2.2. Assure that he and his teammate employees follows the use of safety equipment and rules and apply the corrective actions derived of any deviation.
2.3. Report verbally and immediately report any accident or incident to the medical department and maintenance whenever it applies. Formally communicate any safety event to the process engineer and production supervisor, participate in the accident investigation, and prepare safety reports.
2.4. Stop the operation, report and/or escalate to the process engineer/production supervisor and/or service departments about any unsafety condition in the work area. Assure that all containment and corrective actions are implemented by the service department. Participation in the line restart after a safety event is mandatory.
2.5. Participate actively and behave as required during safety drills.
2.6. Keep 3q6s in his tools and all the machines he participates
2.7. Responsible to properly track daily/weekly/monthly all metrics associated with this specific responsibility.

3.1. Supervise processes that might run out of tolerance and improve existing ones to aim zero defects.

4.1. Assure that dies are running with in specific parameters to assure the production good quality parts
4.2. Achieve the volumes required by improving process and methodology.

5.2. Assure to attend training, teach on a continuous way to share lessons learned with his co-workers.
5.3. Assure follow proper handling of non-conforming material.

iii. competences required to perform the job (functional and interpersonal skills):
1. hand work, manual tool, plastic injection machines
2. general competences: communication, conflict resolution, team work.
iv. education:
1. technical degree in mechanics, electronic, materials, mechatronics, robotic’s or high school and specialized training in the area.
v. work experience:
1. at least 5 years on plastic injection molding.
2. at least 3 years on automotive industry.
3. candidate with no technical degree requires 5 years of experience in process tech role.
vi. certifications / training :
1. plastic injection molding certification (as a plus).
2. resin material certification (as a plus).
vii. accountability and authority of the position:
1. authority to stop production if any quality issue or safety or environmental risk exists
2. accountable of the production metrics and the proper means to achieve the goals.
