*main responsibilities*
*lead and communicate food safety, quality and regulatory*
- conduct regular shop visits/esp internal audits to drive food safety and quality improvements and facilitate business growth
- deliver training to both franchisee and company-owned shops staff on esp, food safety, regulatory management, incident management, etc.
- drive reduction of food safety risks from auditing findings
- manage the hd shops esp audit program in terms of vendor management, auditor training/calibration, and audit results reporting
- provide technical leadership to all ice cream cake production sites in terms of site reviews, process validation, regular visits/inspections, quality system development, trouble shooting, and staff training
- manage food and packaging suppliers by conducting risk assessment and supplier audits, implementing risk mitigation plans, and working jointly with sourcing to ensure visibility of the supply network
- manage all shop regulatory contacts
- identify and mitigate local country regulatory risks in restaurant regulations
- participate in local restaurant or ice cream trade association meetings to enable proactive regulatory management and influence
*drive product quality programs and consumer first capabilities*
- advance consumer first by advocating the shop consumer's voice, analyzing and communicating consumer complaint trends, and implementing action plans to drive down complaint levels
- drive product quality improvement programs such as the ingredient quality guidelines
- support the implementation of global plm system for non-ice cream consumables in hd shops
- partner with shop operations and training teams to improve service quality in the hd shops network
*deliver innovation, renovation, shops format revamp, and geographic expansion to enable business growth*
- proactively manage the new shop opening by means of design/construction review process, pre-opening audits, addressing findings
- enable the launch of new shop formats in the network
- enable new market entries
- enable the innovation and renovation of product/packaging/consumables/merchandise, shop menu revamp, new business models, marketing campaigns/communication, and hmm initiatives
*lead/participate in regional or global projects as designated by the global fsq director of hd shops*
*provide support to the geography and platform fsq leaders in incident and crisis management*
- act as the local fsq coordinator in incident management involving hd shops
*minimum qualifications*
- degree holder or above in food science, chemistry, applied science or related discipline
- at least 5 years working experience in food industry
- knowledge in gmp, haccp, iso22000, food regulations
*preferred qualifications*
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- pc proficiency including microsoft excel, word and powerpoint
- good command of written and spoken english
